Evelyn Kronlage was born and raised in Colorado Springs, where her love for horses was sparked by a horseback riding birthday party 10 years ago. This passion led her to start leasing horses to show, and eventually to training and showing her own two horses, Ellie and Ally. Over the years, her dedication and talent in the sport have earned her two world titles and a bronze world title. In addition to her equestrian achievements, Evelyn is also an ultra-marathoner, having competed in races like the Pikes Peak Ascent and marathon. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in biology, Evelyn plans to attend medical school to eventually have a career in pathology, all sparked by her curiosity to take care of and fully understand horses. Despite her aspirations in human medicine, she remains passionate about horses and has been working as an assistant at equine clinics. Balancing her love for medicine and horses, Evelyn is excited to continue learning and growing in both fields.

Rebecca is a Colorado Springs native who brings a diverse wealth of hands-on experience to the team. She began working as a veterinary assistant in 2022, spending most of her formative years in small animal emergency and general practice settings. Over time, however, she discovered a profound passion for the equine world and equine medicine. Driven by her love for animals big and small, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University, where she just completed her first semester. While she is keeping an open mind about where her veterinary career will take her after graduation, she is excited to explore all avenues of the profession.

​When she isn't studying or working, Rebecca loves to recharge outdoors by exploring hiking trails and enjoying nature. At home, she is proudly outnumbered by her four cats—Pickles, Hero, Callie, and Goldie—who keep life lively and full of personality.

Ashley was born and raised in Colorado Springs, and found her love for horses when she was 5 after riding horses at her aunt and uncle’s ranch. She graduated from high school in 2008, after which she began exploring different careers in customer service but always felt veterinary medicine was her calling. She then focused more on animal care centered employment, including working in small animal medicine and working at different equine boarding facilities. Working with horses deepened her love for them, and gave her the push to further her education. She completed her Veterinary Assistant Certification from PIMA Medical Institute in 2025, and she is currently pursuing her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Outside of veterinary medicine, Ashley is a wife and is a mother to three incredible children. She has two horses of her own, Valkyrie and Zorra which currently reside at the Air Force Academy. She also has pets at home that include dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading books, and painting. She also loves working with and riding her horses, which has helped continue to deepen her love for horses. Ashley is excited for the opportunity to work with Dr. Shilo and be able to utilize her skills to foster a positive experience for both clients and their equine companions, while continuing her education in equine veterinary medicine.
